Care Groups
“Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers." - Galatians 6:10
At First Christian Church Garland all church members are placed into a Care Group when they join the church. The Membership Ministry team assists with the assigning process. In most cases, when a church member is in need of care, their Sunday School class is one of the first points of contact. However, for church members who do not belong to a Sunday School class, Membership will step into the caring role. Membership will contact other members within the Care group for things such as prayers, cards and/or meals.
An Elder team is also assigned to each Care group for prayers and spiritual support.

Fishers of Families
God’s Messengers
Hands of Faith
Shepherds
The Grapevine
