Sunday Morning Church School
First Christian Church offers a variety of adult Christian Study and fellowship through our many church school classes. (Please refer to the maps located throughout the church building for class location). Church school begins at 10:15 a.m. just after our Coffee Fellowship.
Apostles Class
Meets in room 205. This class consists of both married and single young adults. Greg camp is the teacher.
Bring Your Own Bible Class (Byob)
Meets in Elder/Deacon Room off the foyer of the main sanctuary. This class is made up of 20 to 30 year olds. Each Sunday members engage in energetic discussions over matters that are in the news that very week
Christianity 101
Meets in room 201. This class is for those who want to learn more about the bible and have real questions about their faith, seeking to ask these questions in a friendly and encouraging environment. The class covers the basics of the faith, focusing on one book of the bible at a time, one chapter each week. John and Judy Grasham teach this class.
Cooper Class
Meets in room 102. This is class for mixed age adults. Several teachers rotate and lead the class in a combination of lecture and discussion.
Crusaders Class
Meets in room 202. This is a team taught class of mixed age adults featuring lectures and active discussion. Frequent class activities include trips, parties, and service projects.
Followers Class
Meets in room 204. This is a team taught bible study class for middle aged and older adults with lots of discussion. The class also enjoys meeting together at other times, including several social events each year.
The Gap
Meets in RM 213. GAP stands for Graduates and Professionals. This class bridges the gap between high school or college graduation and starting out in the business world. We are a mission-oriented class with membership ranging from ages 17-25.
Ruth Mix Class
Meets in room 104. This is an active class of older adults led by a rotating group of teachers who engage the class in lively discussion. The class also meets every other month for a daytime activity or outing.
